There is no better way to end the summer season than with a family holiday in Beirut. Even though we couldn’t spend more time than five days in the Lebanese capital, it was already such a chance to be able to come and visit. We always have the same routine but still, every day is different and filled with love and surprises. Here are a few pictures of the day to day life in Beirut taken in early September
Before leaving to Lebanon, Karl & I treated ourselves to a cool movie in a cool theatre – Lucy at the Electric Cinema. And in fact it really is a treat, from the moment you purchase your tickets to the end of the movie, Soho House found a way to make you feel comfortable and cozy – as if you were in your own private home cinema.
Maça Kizi or The Queen of Spade is a 5 star luxury hidden gem located in the Türkbükü Bay, 45 minutes away from Bodrum in Turkey. This Turkish delightful village is well known as being the local “St-Tropez” of Turkey but also one of Naomi & Kate’s holiday spot This is also the place where Chloe and I were insanely lucky enough to be invited to spend four unforgettable days.
Hey everyone ! We just got back from a beautiful wedding in Spain and are heading straight to Lebanon this afternoon. Quite an epic summer filled with travel, discoveries, beautiful landscapes and loads of sunshine! As Summer is ending, I wanted to share with you a great song and video created, written and played by my brother, Simon Bear.
Coming back from Turkey where it was 30 degrees and put ourselves back into narrow shoes and tight slim jeans was tough enough that we also had to deal with a weird hot and cold London summer weather… So to get past the welcome back home feeling, we had a very chilled plan figured out which would only require a little cultural attention and a big appetite :D
For us expats in London staying in town during the week-end and not travelling abroad, it is the ideal time for relaxation, sports in the park, cooling off in the museums or just enjoy casual drinks with friends on a terrace. For the Middle Eastern visitors, it is the best time of the year to take over the city.
